WebHostingPad is among the best budget hosting services out there. They’re giving 1,700 GB of disk space and 17,000 GB/month of bandwidth on their plan.  Much less for only $3.96/month!  (Another time that I said to myself, "If only…".)

Webhostingpad.com, whose office is in Torrance, CA, was founded in 2005 with the intention to deliver the best value in web hosting.  Quite new in business compared to other familiar names. WebHostingPad promises to delivering the best value in Internet hosting by providing a safe, reliable and efficient process to create an Internet presence. All with a price structure driven by value. Frankly, I couldn’t find much information on the company.  I don’t have any idea as to how many clients they’re hosting.  Maybe not a big figure, as providers usually brag about these numbers, if they can.

Company history aside, the one and only hosting plan WebHostingPad offers consists of gigantic features like 1,700 GB storage (equivalent to 17,000 standard websites), 17,000 GB per month of traffic, one free domains, hosting unlimited websites, unlimited MySQL databases, etc.  All for $4.95, the cheapest for plans with database support so far.  Although I believe no webmaster can stop the number of his/her websites at one, I don’t believe any past-time webmaster can use these features up.  

You can expect standard service and support such as 24/7 support via email or telephone, 30-day money back guarantee, 99.9% and server uptime guarantee.  I couldn’t see lot of comments on WebHostingPad but ones I saw were plainly positive.  Worth giving it a try, in my opinion.

Update (1-3-08): Price down, features up!  Sign up with WebHostingPad for 36 months and it’ll be only $3.95/month.  Well, isn’t it time to do so?

Update 2 (1-16-08): Price and features are raised to 1,700 GB space and 17,000 GB monthly traffic for $4.95/month.  I must be crazy.  1,700 GB!!! 

Update 3 (5-7-08): Price down!!! It’s even cheaper; you get it all at $3.96/month!
